Touro’s faculty are the professionals who enliven the curriculum and add dimension to the study and exploration of law. Each professor brings a wealth of talent and experience to the classroom, as well as a genuine passion for teaching.

Touro’s 43 full-time faculty members are actively engaged in research, making noteworthy contributions to legal scholarship and law reform. Many have advanced degrees in other disciplines, including medicine, philosophy, business, and finance. Almost all have extensive practice backgrounds, joining us from the bench, major law firms, government agencies, public interest and advocacy groups. Many are also nationally and internationally recognized experts in such fields as civil rights, international human rights, education law, products liability, and computer law.

Representing a unique mix of talents and achievements, the faculty shares one common characteristic: accessibility to the students they teach. In this open, cooperative atmosphere, both students and faculty reap the benefits of a dynamic and enriching educational experience.
