Provides students with experience representing clients who have applied for political and other forms of asylum in the United States.
Housing Rights Project
This is a joint venture of the Law Center and Nassau-Suffolk Law Services, Inc., an organization that provides civil legal services to low-income area residents.
Social Justice Project
Students become part of a team addressing legal issues of vital importance to the low-income community on Long Island.
Domestic Violence Project
Students assist domestic violence victims by drafting court pleadings, arguing for temporary orders of protection, and representing them in efforts to obtain more lasting legal protection.
