Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center has been working with Project P.A.T.C.H. for over the last ten years. Teachers from Project P.A.T.C.H. have been enrolled as students in Touro Law School and faculty from our School have made presentations at Institutes and Programs conceived, organized and run by Project P.A.T.C.H.

Touro Law School helped their program at Northport High School in developing an extensive law library, and they have assisted us by identifying other schools interested in accepting appropriate law books from donors willing to support high school law courses.

It seems quite appropriate, then, for us to be taking the next step of working with Project P.A.T.C.H. in presenting a virtual law library relevant to high school law courses. Project P.A.T.C.H. made it easy for us to say "yes" when they requested that we place United States Supreme Court cases on the Touro Law Center Web Site. They arranged for a grant to pay Touro Law Center staff and they provided their guide book and a list of the cases that are included in the eleventh grade curriculum. In addition, Touro Law Center Web Site lists the full text of the United States Supreme Court cases that are included in their guide book.

The gathering of the cases and the HTML editing were done over the summer and fall of 1996 by Edward Pedwell and Gerard Rose, under the supervision of Evan Bougiouris the Director of the Touro Law Center Management Information System. Design of the Web pages was done by Evan Bougiouris, Touro Law Center's Webmaster, and Gerard Rose. Also, Professor Gary Shaw is responsible for the Web Site content. I made a small contribution, serving as a conduit for the request to place the United States Supreme Court cases on our Web Site, and acting as a paper shuffler, when needed.

Touro Law Center is interested in playing a continuing role in these programs and is proud to play the role of strengthening the Law Youth and Citizenship Programs throughout New York state and the country. Any suggestions for future projects or comments, should be sent to me at DanJ@TouroLaw.edu.
