Felicia Gaon, Ed. D., Esq. is a graduate of Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where she was awarded the school's Pro Bono Award at graduation and was the recipient of the New York State Bar Association Presidential Pro Bono Scholar award. Her primary focus is on advocating for students with disabilities. Most recently she was a Temporary Staff Attorney in the Special Education Unit (SEU) at New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG). Prior to that she was a Pro Bono Scholar and an Intern in teh SEU at NYLAG. She also garnered valuable experience through her roles as a clinical intern and advanced clinical intern in Touro's Education & Youth Justice Clinic, as well as an externship in the Civil Rights Division at the Anti-Defamation League.
Felicia has a long professional history in education. She was a Director of Student Services in a small city school district and held various positions in special education administration and school counseling.
