Malvina Iannone Joins Touro Law Center Board of Governors
March 3, 2021Touro Law Center Dean Elena B. Langan is pleased to announce that Malvina Iannone, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. has joined the Board of Governors.
“Malvina is a leader in her field, relied upon to bring legal knowledge and support on a broad range of corporate matters. I am confident that her experience and dedication to mentorship and volunteer work will make a positive impact as a member of our distinguished board,” stated Dean Langan. “I look forward to working with her and anticipate that her contributions will be most meaningful.”
The Touro Law Center Board of Governors is a group of distinguished men and women dedicated to supporting the growth of the Law Center. The Board consists of more than 50 lawyers and non-lawyers who are regional and national leaders in the legal, business, philanthropic and academic communities.
Malvina Iannone is responsible for all of Arbor’s legal activities, including providing legal support on all corporate matters, M&A and related transactions, capital market activity, treasury functions, human resources, marketing, information technology, litigation, and all other regulatory and compliance matters.
Ms. Iannone has deep experience in governance and securities, commercial transactions, capital markets, regulatory matters, cybersecurity, privacy, employment law and litigation oversight. Before joining Arbor, she served in a number of General Counsel level roles at General Electric Company Prior to that, Ms. Iannone practiced M&A and securities law at White & Case, LLP. She holds both a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from New York University.
Malvina is passionate about the critical role the legal profession plays in creating a better world for all, through leadership in policy, equity and problem solving. Ms. Iannone lives in Westport, CT with her husband Edward and their three children Max, Annabelle and Charlie.
