Touro College & University System is celebrating its 50th Jubilee Anniversary during this academic year. In 1971, Touro College welcomed its first class of 35 students in Midtown Manhattan. Just four years later, over 1,000 students were enrolled. Since then, over the last 50 years, we’ve grown into a global network of schools serving nearly 19,000 students annually. This year several events are being planned to celebrate our 50 year anniversary throughout our 35 campuses. This groundbreaking ceremony is one of the institution’s first kick-off events, celebrating collaboration, expansion and continued growth among Touro College & University System.
