Touro Law Secures New $50,000 Scholarship
March 22, 2022Touro Law Center Dean Elena B. Langan is pleased to announce a new $50,000 scholarship. The Raphaelson and Levine Law Firm Scholarship will be awarded to students for whom it will have a significant impact on their financial ability to attend law school.
“We are grateful to Mr. Raphaelson, Mr. Levine, and Mr. Flick for supporting our students by establishing this scholarship to ease the financial burden of law school,” stated Dean Elena Langan. “Generosity such as this makes a huge impact for our students.”
Howard Raphaelson founded the Raphaelson & Levine Law Firm in 1992, serving personal injury victims in the New York region. Andrew Levine joined the firm in 2005 and serves as partner. Corey Flick is an associate at the firm, whose practice is focused on motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and various other types of negligence actions. The attorneys are passionate about advocating for clients and for helping others. Mr. Raphaelson and Mr. Flick are members of Touro Law’s Board of Governors.
This gift marks more than a quarter of a million dollars raised since August 2021 for student scholarships. Touro Law has always offered scholarship support to both incoming and current students. In the past 10 years, the law school has added more than 67 named scholarships to those scholarships awarded administratively. Alumni, law firms, corporations and friends have donated the new scholarships.
