Touro Law Launches January Enrollment Option
October 1, 2015Touro Law Center is accepting students for a January 2016 start. Just one of a few law schools providing this option, Touro Law offers a jump start for college graduates and working professionals who have taken the LSAT and are prepared for law school before the traditional August start. This advances Touro Law’s commitment to smaller class cohorts and greater flexibility in scheduling.
According to Dean Patricia Salkin, “Touro Law has always been mindful of the legal education needs and desires of our community. Whether it has been our non-traditional 2, 4 and 5 year formats, and part-time options during the day or evening, intersession and summer school courses, Touro Law’s commitment to quality accessible legal education has been exceptional.” Further, Salkin commented, “As one of the first law schools with a faculty director of digital legal education, Touro Law continues to be on the forefront of thoughtful changes in the delivery of legal education both in format and in substance.”
The new program features small class sizes and individual attention from faculty. Students enrolled in the January start are eligible for the same financial aid and scholarship packages as those who enter in the Fall. Admissions criteria and requirements are identical for both spring and fall entering students.
