About Touro Law

Touro Law Center was established in 1980 as part of Touro College, a private, not-for-profit, coeducational institution based in New York City. Founded under Jewish auspices by its President, Dr. Bernard Lander, the College was chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York in 1970.  Read more about our law school here.

Conference Registration

The cost of the conference is $200 per registrant, which will cover lunches and dinners, including the Gala Dinner on Thursday evening, as well as shuttles to and from any recommended hotel (see below). Guests may attend the Gala Dinner at the Alfonse M. D’Amato Courthouse for $85. Special accommodations have been made for students who are interested in attending.

CLE

2 hours of CLE ethics credit will be available on Friday, May 4. There will be a $50 registration fee for CLE materials and certification. Please contact Barbara Hakimi at (631) 761-7005 for additional information.

Getting to Touro Law

We are located in close proximity to both JFK and LaGuardia airports and just minutes from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport. We are easily accessible by both car and train from New York City. For directions to our campus, please click here.

Deluxe Transportation Services can be reached at 1-800-232-3358 for a price quote on transportation from the airport to our school or your hotel.  There is also an air train available from JFK to Jamaica Station (which is located in Jamaica, Queens).  From that train station, you can get on the Long Island Railroad to Central Islip.  We have shuttles which go from the Central Islip train station to our school.


Hotel Accommodations

Residence Inn Marriott
A special group rate has been negotiated for conference attendees at the Residence Inn Marriott. A shuttle will be provided free of charge for attendees staying at the Marriott to bring them to and from the conference each day. If you are interested in staying at the Residence Inn Marriott, please make your reservation by May 2, 2012.

Please call 800.331.3131 and reference the Touro Law/Religiously Affiliated Law School's Conference at the Residence Inn Long Island by Marriott to make their reservations at the group rate.  

**Please note that if you attempt to make a reservation to check in prior to 5/2/2012 or if you choose to stay beyond 5/4/2012, the system will respond that there are no rooms available. 

Holiday Inn Express
A special group rate has been negotiated for conference attendees at the Holiday Inn Express. A shuttle will be provided free of charge for attendees staying at the Holiday Inn Express to bring them to and from the conference each day.

You can make reservations by calling (631) 348-1400 and referencing the Touro Law School Conference. The group code is "TLS", please refer to this code when making your reservation.
Reservations must be received by attendees at least thirty days prior to arrival. After that time, rooms will be released for general sale, and the rate will be available on a space-available basis only.
