2 CreditsThis course introduces the fundamentals of legal and ethical issues in the area of reproduction. Nothing is as fundamental to the human condition as reproduction. For many, reproduction is beyond their control (either preventing or initiating). This course will focus on the legal, ethical, and political issues involved in controlling reproduction. Topics we will include abortion, contraception, in-vitro fertilization (gamete/embryo donation and fertility preservation), surrogacy & adoption, and uterine transplant & posthumous reproduction.
