Advanced Externship - LAWN997
2 CreditsStudents who have taken the Civil Externship or Judicial/Criminal Externship are permitted to take the Advanced Externship. Students are required to work 140 hours in private law firms, corporate law departments, government legal offices, or non-profit/public interest legal groups. Students’ responsibilities include attending court, administrative proceedings and business transactions; interviewing, negotiating, and counseling; and researching and drafting pleadings and memoranda. They are also required to submit a weekly journal. Students will meet periodically with a supervising faculty member.
