SPEAKERS:

Honorable Roy K. Altman
United States District Judge
On April 4, 2019, Judge Altman was confirmed to a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He received a BA from Columbia University, where he played quarterback on the football team and pitched for the baseball team, and he received his JD from Yale Law School. After law school, the Judge clerked on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, then became a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami.

Alyza D. Lewin, Esq.
President, Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law
Alyza D. Lewin is the President of The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, a non-profit organization established to advance the civil and human rights of the Jewish people and promote justice for all. Ms. Lewin is also a co-founder and partner in Lewin & Lewin, LLP where she specializes in litigation, mediation and government relations. Ms. Lewin received her B.A. from Princeton University and a J.D. from NYU School of Law.

Professor of Law, Director of the Jewish Law Institute
Professor Samuel J. Levine is the Director of the Jewish Law Institute at Touro Law Center. He is also a prolific writer, and author of Was Yosef on the Spectrum? Understanding Joseph Through Torah, Midrash and Classical Jewish Sources, and Jewish Law and American Law: A Comparative Study.
