Rosemarie Barnett

Rosemarie Barnett is an attorney with The Law Office of Rosemarie Barnett, PLLC. Her Law office is a successful solo litigation practice with a focus on immigration law, matrimonial and family law, commercial litigation, personal injury, and criminal defense.
Rosemarie graduated from Touro Law School with honors as a Salutatorian and Dean’s Fellow in the Class of 2001. While a student, she was a member of the Touro Law Review.

Rosemarie believes in the power of giving back. She maintains an active caseload of pro bono matters in the area of asylum law. She has also worked with the NYLAG, Immigration Equality, and Nassau Suffolk Law Services.

Rosemarie would like to serve on the Alumni Board because she had a great experience as Managing Attorney for the Touro Incubator from 2013 until 2016. As a Board Member, Rosemarie hopes to accomplish opening an incubator because it is a great opportunity for those students/alum looking to open their own firm.

Mark Berman

Mark Berman is the founder and CEO of the CompliGlobe Group of Companies, where he advises, reviews and conducts training programs for foreign private issuers, advisers, brokers, hedge funds, regulators and multi-national banks in Asia, Europe and the United States on SEC practice, UK, EU and SFC issues, codes of ethics, corporate governance, AML and cross-border compliance and regulatory matters.

Mark received his JD from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1985. As a student at Touro Law, Mark was Law Review Articles Editor and participated in the Kaufman National Moot Court (Securities Regulation) twice.

He is currently a member of the New York State Bar (ret’d), the U.S. Supreme Court Bar and the Law Society of England & Wales. Mark volunteered with the SEC Historical Society and other endeavors involving international sports. Mark is Trustee Emeritus of the SEC Historical Society (Trustee 2006-2009) and sat on the Task Force for the SEC’s 75th Anniversary Commemoration in 2009.

Mark is a recognized international fastpitch softball player, coach, manager and administrator with 112 Caps, BSF Hall of Fame and his national team # 2 retired. He is a Maccabiah Games Gold medal coach for the USA Men’s Masters Team. In 2001, Mark was recognized by the International Olympic Committee for outstanding contributions as a volunteer leader in the IOC’s “International Year of the Volunteer”.

By becoming a member of the Touro Law Alumni Association, Mark can give back to the Touro Law community.

Tesla Carrasquillo

Tesla Carrasquillo received her Juris Doctor from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2014. Tesla is currently a Senior Attorney for the Mental Hygiene Legal Service.

Tesla was President of LALSA and Vice President of the Student Bar Association while a student at Touro Law. She was also a TA, served as a chair member for the Goods and Services Auction, participated in Mock Trial, and won the Touro Law Review/Moot Court Honors Board Student Colloquium Award for Best Paper in 2014. Tesla was also a recipient of the TLC Public Interest Attorney of the Year 2016 award.

Tesla currently volunteers with the Pink Tie Charity and the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary.
Tesla is grateful for her time at Touro Law Center and was actively involved as a student. Tesla would like to serve on the Alumni Board because she looks forward to helping continue strengthen the Law Center and working to build a strong alumni group.

Brian Caufield

Brian Caufield is a Touro Law graduate, Class of 2001, and the current Director of Labor Relations Services at the University Shared Services Enterprise. Brian helps the Administration at Oregon's Public Universities to negotiate staff and faculty collective bargaining agreements, advise on the implementation and administration of those agreements, and provide general labor relations advice and representation.

At Touro Law, Brian was involved with the Student Bar Association, Law Review, and Academic Policy Committee. He was a Class Representative and served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association.

Currently, Brian is involved with the National Association of College and University Attorneys and the Oregon State Bar. He is a member of Our House of Portland Dinner Series Committee where he raises funds for individuals living with and recovering from AIDS.

Brian is eager to serve on the Alumni Board so he can use his networking and fundraising skills to expand the Alumni Association beyond the tristate area. Brian will increase and establish engagement, networking, and funding, proportionate to the geographic regions.

Amanda Disken

Vanessa Cavallaro received her Juris Doctor from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2016. Vanessa is currently a Senior Court Attorney for the NYS Unified Court System.

While a student at Touro Law, Vanessa served as Business Editor of the Touro Law Review and Vice President of the Lambda Law Students Association. She was also a Student Ambassador and research assistant, and worked in a few offices, including the Development Office.

Vanessa loves Touro Law Center—it is her home! Vanessa regularly attends prospective and accepted students’ events as an alumna to sing its praises. She encounters many alums who also love the law center, but unfortunately, feel disconnected since graduating. As an Alumni Association Board member, Vanessa will serve to eliminate this disconnection and contribute to the school’s advancement.

Ruben Davidoff is the Founder and Managing Attorney of The Law Firm of Davidoff & Associates. Ruben handles issues such as motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, premises liability, slip and fall/trip and fall, as well as other areas of personal injury law, practicing and arguing in both state and federal courts.

Ruben received his Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Huntington, in 2011. He annually contributes to Touro Law for student scholarships.
Ruben is involved in pro bono work and an active member of QCBA. He is also an activist of NYSTLA annual lobby day, the NYS Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, NYS Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys.

By becoming a member of Touro Law’s Alumni Association. Ruben can offer young attorneys-to-be his experience and expertise to help them find the path of their future.
Amanda Disken


Amanda Disken is an Attorney and Principle at The Disken Law Firm in Wantagh, NY. Amanda’s practice involves commercial and general civil litigation and appeals (State and Federal), civil asset forfeiture defense, select criminal defense, and real estate transactions.

Amanda received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2013 where she graduated 16th overall in her class and was an active member of both the Touro Law Review and Touro Honors Program.

Amanda is an active member in the New York State Bar Association and is currently serving as a volunteer attorney for the COVID-19 Probono Network. She has previously served as a volunteer board member for a local community counseling center.

Amanda would be proud to serve on the Alumni Board to assist Touro Law Center's goals of improving the Alumni Association. Alumni presence is so strong on Long Island and she wants to help strengthen Touro Law’s network.
Neil Fang

Neil Fang is Partner of Schwartz, Fang & Keating, P.C. Mr. Fang is a recognized authority in the areas of estate and income tax planning, estate administration, family-owned business succession planning, charitable planning, elder law and real estate. He also successfully represents clients in contested estate and trust proceedings in addition to federal and state tax audits.

Neil is a Touro Law graduate, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1993. As a student, he was a member of Touro Law Review.

Mr. Fang is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, and New York State Society of CPAs.

Mr. Fang would like to serve on Touro Law’s Alumni Board because he feels that after 27 years of practicing law as a Trusts & Estate attorney it is time to give back to Touro Law and the students.
John Fellin

John J. Fellin is a Partner at Quatela Chimeri, PLLC, with offices in Hauppauge and Garden City, and concentrates his work in the areas of Matrimonial and Family Law. John has dedicated his legal career to helping clients navigate the difficult and often emotional issues and challenging family dynamics that invariably arise in both the dissolution of a marriage and in other family law proceedings.

John received his Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 2008. He remains an active and involved member of the school community.

John is frequently called upon as a lecturer before the Suffolk County Bar Association and other professional associations. John is the President Elect of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association, having served a director since 2016, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Family Law Section. John is an active member of the Suffolk County Bar Association.

If elected to the Touro Alumni Board, John would advocate for the continued academic development of our students in the classroom, while also encouraging externship, enrichment and observation programs designed to better prepare law students to emerge into the world of practicing attorneys following graduation.
Wendy Gildin

Wendy Gildin is currently an Attorney at the Law Offices of Wendy Gildin in Garden City, NY.

Wendy received her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 1996. She participated in Moot Court Society, the Women’s Bar Association, and was a Public Interest Fellowship recipient. Wendy was also a Public Advocacy Center participant with Long Island Advocacy Center.

Currently, Wendy is an active member of the NYC Assigned Counsel Family Court Panel in Queens. She is a member Attorney for Children Panel, 2nd Department, and an assigned counsel for the Association of Queens County. Finally, Wendy is part of the Queens County bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association.

Wendy volunteers at The Chai Center of Dix Hills Women's Club and Friendship Circle.
By becoming a member of Touro Law’s Alumni Association, Wendy will assist in attracting new students and continue Touro's mission to provide legal assistance in under-served communities. Wendy will also help raise money for scholarships and fellowships to encourage public interest work.
Mark Guarriello

Mark R. Guarriello earned his J.D. Degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, graduating Cum Laude in 2011. In the Fall of 2010, Mr. Guarriello was awarded the CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in the Elder Law Clinic and Settling Legal Disputes. As a student, he was an active member of the Touro Law Review.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Guarriello graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2008, as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Epsilon, and Pi Sigma Alpha. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in both Economics and Political Science.

Mr. Guarriello is admitted to practice in the State of New York, State of New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a proud member of the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Guarriello believed that in starting his own practice, he could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. In 2012, he founded MARK R. GUARRIELLO PLLC in Northport Village. MARK R. GUARRIELLO PLLC has allowed Mr. Guarriello to realize his passion for helping clients with their legal needs. He has focused his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, real estate and business formation.

Mr. Guarriello is actively involved in his community, participating as a member in the Northport Chamber of Commerce and assisting the local community with various fundraising endeavors. He strongly values giving back to others and believes that the skills and knowledge obtained from an education in the law affords one with not only an opportunity to give back to the community, but opens the door to a world of possibilities.
Todd Houslanger

Todd Houslanger is the managing attorney of Houslanger & Associates, PLLC. Houslanger & Associates represents banks, credit unions, law firms, corporations, physicians, accountants, collection agencies and individuals in a wide variety of business and litigation. Todd also serves as a Court Examiner appointed by the Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division to supervise Article 81 Mental Hygiene guardianships in the County of Nassau.

Todd earned his Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center (Class of 1988), where he served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of the Suffolk Academy of Law. Todd was also a class representative and President of PAD. As an alum, Todd has served on the 25-year reunion committee and on the Touro Deans Advisory Committee.

Todd is the President of the Consumer Credit Association of Metropolitan New York (CCA), a not for profit NY corporation created to share common interests, ideas, and information relevant to the ever-changing credit and collection industry. He is the current Chairman of the Creditor's Rights Law Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association (SCBA) and was previously Chairman from 2000 through 2003. He is also an active member of the American Collectors Association (ACA), a member of the Federal Legislative Committee of the National Creditors Bar Association (NCBA) formerly the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA) and a member of the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA).

Todd has a great devotion to and love for Touro Law Center. He appreciated and benefitted from his wonderful education and has made lifelong contacts, without who he would not be the success he is today!
Elizabeth Justese

Elizabeth Justesen is the Chief Community Outreach Officer for the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County.

Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 2006. As a student she was a member of PILOT, where the team organized and hosted the Robert Cover Public Interest Retreat creating entire program and coordinated all of the speakers and events.

She is actively involved with Breaking Barriers Pro Bono Project, the Reentry Task Force of Suffolk County, New Hour, Suffolk County Bar Association, and Access to Justice- Library program, and an Adjunct at SUNY Stony Brook- School of Social Welfare.

By serving on the Alumni Board, Elizabeth wants to continue to work on plans to help Touro Law grow in the community and help connect our students to legal programs and agencies, with a focus on building relationships in Suffolk County.
Rich Langone

Richard Langone, of Langone & Associates, represents people charged with, or convicted of, serious crimes in New York State and federal courts.

Mr. Langone received a Juris Doctorate degree from Touro Law Center (cum laude), Class of 1998, where he served as a member of both the Touro Law Review and the Touro Moot Court Board. He later received a Master of Laws degree in commercial law from Touro Law Center, again graduating cum laude. Richard received the Special Services Award for his contribution to the Touro Class of 2001.

Mr. Langone is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, and Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association.

Each year, Richard donates hours of pro-bono services to those experiencing financial hardships.

Richard will use his position as a board member of the Alumni Association to promote Touro Law and their alum, participate in the clinics (work with the law center to develop additional clinics), and mentor students for a total of 20 hours.
Matthew Loescher

Matthew W. Loescher is an associate attorney for Rubin, Fiorella, Friedman, & Mercante’s General Liability department.

Matthew attended Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Class of 2015, where he graduated with honors. As a Touro Law student, Matthew was involved with the Touro Law Review (Executive Board), Moot Court (Executive Board and semi-finalist in Bainbridge), International Law Review, Business Law Society, Mock Trial, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and he was a Research Assistant.

Matthew continues to be involved with the ABA and NYS Bar Association. He is working on launching an Elder Care non-profit and volunteers to tutor learning disabled students.

Matthew attributes his success to the foundation he gained at Touro Law. By becoming a member of the Alumni Association, Matthew can offer students his insights, experiences, and job/internship connections, so that the students may benefit like he did.
Gregory Marcus

Gregory Marcus began his career in law enforcement with the New York City Police Department. With the goal of advancing his knowledge of the law and developing a foundation in business, he graduated from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2011. Gregory spent several years in field operations with The Home Depot, Inc. There, he was responsible for the initiation, execution and implementation of core operations and asset protection programs in the New York area. Gregory entered the practice of law with Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ABR), a national direct lender and real estate investment trust that provides debt capital for diverse commercial real estate investments. Gregory currently serves as Associate General Counsel & Assistant Secretary at Arbor and is responsible for legal activities relating to Arbor’s business, including corporate matters, litigation, compliance, employment law, regulatory affairs, managing Arbor’s outside legal counsel relationships, asset management, real estate transactions, and family office matters.

Gregory received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is currently a candidate for a Master’s of Business Administration at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Gregory Marcus

Sean McLeod is a 2016 graduate who has focused entirely on public interest law since starting at Touro Law in 2013, and would certainly be remiss if he did not mention that Richard Klein was a true mentor and has become a real friend.

During his time at the Law Center, Sean was fortunate enough to be involved with a myriad of student organizations, including the Executive Boards of the Criminal Law Society, PILOT, the SBA, and as an Editor of the Touro Law Review. As a rising 2L, after coming home from the Vietnam study abroad program, Sean was able to spend the rest of his summer completing a fellowship while assisting the local chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union--and, after going back to Vietnam the following summer, he completed a second fellowship while assisting Professor Stephen Kunken on pro-bono criminal assignments in Suffolk County. After graduating, Sean immediately landed his dream job as a Criminal Defense Attorney in Nassau County, and proudly fought for indigent clients for over three years. Recently, Sean transitioned to Queens Defenders, doing the same work. Sean hopes to spend the balance of his career offering legal assistance to those who are unable to afford private counsel.

If selected to serve on the Executive Board, Sean looks forward to reconnecting with various alumni and working toward creating a legal community that can serve to benefit graduates, as well as serve to assist current students while they learn and attempt to access the legal landscape here in New York. With that said, Sean has seen the list of nominees and can say that we will be incredibly well-represented regardless of the Alumni Executive Board's eventual composition.

Syndie Molina

Syndie Molina, Touro Law’s Class of 2020, seeks to be a member of the Alumni Association because it is her belief that being of service is crucial to the bettering of any community.

As a student at Touro Law, Syndie was President of the Student Bar Association and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Race, Gender, and Ethnicity. She worked on Health Law Projects, LALSA, FBA, and the Jewish Law Faculty Committee.

Syndie is involved with the Long Island Hispanic Bar; Phi Alpha Delta; The Paris American Club; Federal Bar Association; Nassau County Bar Association; New York State Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar. Syndie also volunteers at the Brentwood High School as a mock trial coach.
Ryan Nasim

Ryan Nasim is an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the NYC Law Department in the Labor and Employment Litigation Division where he represents the City of NY against both state and federal claims of employment discrimination.

Ryan started in the Manhattan Tort Division of the NYC Law Department, where defended the City against excessive force, false arrest, motor vehicle accidents, and other personal injury claims. In the Tort division, Ryan successfully tried 6 jury trials, and 4 bench trials, and obtained successful decisions on summary judgment motions, one of which was affirmed in the First Department, Appellate Division. After theTort Division, Ryan worked in the Family Court Division where he assisted in implementing the Raise the Age legislation as a Prosecutor in Criminal and Family Court.

In his spare time, Ryan performs pro bono services in his spare time. Ryan is a 2016 graduate of Touro Law, a former Managing Editor of the Touro Law Review, former T.A. and Student Co-Director of LEAP, and Treasurer of Lambda Law.

David Pernick

David Pernick received his Juris Doctor from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2018. He is currently an Associate Attorney at Brown & Altman, LLP, representing institutional lenders in commercial transactions and counseling clients in a broad range of issues including commercial and residential real estate development, land use and zoning matters, Article 78 proceedings and other various litigation matters.

At Touro Law, David was the President of the Intellectual Property Law and Arts, Entertainment and Sports Law societies. He was also the Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Not only did he fulfill executive positions within the above societies but David also fulfilled the position of Treasurer for the Family Law Society.

David continues his involvement since graduating from Touro Law by being a member of the Long Island Food Council and volunteering to participate in seminars and moderate panels and events on liquor licensing. David also regularly attends meetings of various local organizations, such as ACIT, ICSC, and LIREG.

Becoming a member of Touro Law’s Alumni Association would help David give back to current students of the Law School. As a young attorney, he feels his experience would be beneficial to Touro Law.

Keetick Sanchez

Keetick Sanchez is a litigation attorney for a Queens-based law firm, K L Sanchez Law Office. She skillfully handles civil and criminal proceedings such as personal injury, criminal misdemeanors, and felonies, among other matters to serve her community's needs.

Ms. Sanchez received her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 2016. Keetick was Editor in Chief of JRGE, a LEAP teaching assistant, and President of IRAP helping refugees. She was also involved in LALSA BLSA and Women’s Bar Association.
Keetick is actively involved with the New York City Bar, NYS Bar, Women’s Bar, Personal Injury Lawyers Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA), and NYS Trial Academy. She volunteers her time doing community outreach.

Touro Law Center was Keetick’s “home away from home”. The college has given her many opportunities and as a member of the Alumni Association, she would like to give back to the school and be able to help current students and others.

Michael Sansevero

Michael Sansevero is a realtor for the RE/MAX in Wilton Manors, Florida.
He received his Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center, graduating Valedictorian of the Class of 1993. While a student a Touro Law, Michael was involved with Moot Court and the International Law Review.

Michael regularly attends Touro Law Alumni events in South Florida and is a contributor to the Capital Fund Program.

Michael has held all offices and is an active member of the Hofstra University Alumni Association, the Fort Lauderdale Board of Realtors, and the Wilton Manors Business Association. He is appointed Board Member of the Wilton Manors Community Affairs Advisory Committee and Coordinator of Sculpture Walk Wilton Manors program for public art.

Michael has maintained contact with Touro Law Alumni activities for over a number of years and thinks he would be a great contribution to the Alumni Association.

Elizabeth Sy

Elizabeth Sy is an Associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., where she is a member of the firm’s litigation department.

Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2017, graduating Summa Cum Laude. During law school, Elizabeth was an Honors Program Scholar and the Editor-in-Chief of the Touro Law Review. She served as the Treasurer of the Public Interest Law Organization and Student Co-Director of the Legal Education Access Program, a program designed to promote diversity and assist incoming law students with developing study and exam skills. Elizabeth continues to support the program as a guest lecturer.

In January 2019, Elizabeth received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award for providing an exceptional level of service to the Law Center and serving as a role model for graduating students.

Elizabeth serves on the Young Professionals Committee and as a mentor for Hope For Youth, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to facilitating positive changes in the lives of children. She is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.

If elected a member of the Alumni Board, Elizabeth would like to help open doors for students who want to work at a mid to large size firms by sharing advice in connection with the hiring process and inviting them to networking events.

Marty Tankleff

Martin Tankleff is an Associate Attorney for Metcalf & Metcalf PC where he is head of the Prisoner and Civil Rights Litigation Group. Martin is pursuing his career as an attorney, advocating criminal justice reform and wrongful convictions; he is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and Touro Law Center.

Martin received his JD from Touro Law Center in 2014. While he was a student at Touro, Martin was active in the Criminal Law Society and also helped establish a wrongful conviction externship.

Martin has been a member of the following organizations and has been as active and involved as practical: Innocence Network/Innocence Project, National & NYS Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, etc. He speaks at high schools, colleges, bar associations, and other education/professional organizations on the issue of innocence and criminal justice.

As a member of the Touro Family, where a scholarship was established in his name, Martin knows he can be an asset to the Alumni Board and in other capacities to help Touro and its student body grow.

Jessica Fogel

Jessica Vogele is currently a Judicial Law Clerk for the Eastern District of New York.

Jessica received her Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center in 2017 and graduated as valedictorian of the full-time division. As a student, she was the Constitutional Law Notes Editor for Touro Law Review, a writing coach, and a Teaching Assistant for Professor Graves. As an alumna, she volunteers as a tutor to Constitutional Law students.

Jessica is a member of the Federal Bar Council and NYC Bar Association.

Jessica would like to serve on Touro Law’s Alumni Board to help Touro raise bar passage percentages and organize fundraising events. Jessica is interested in organizing fundraising events to raise money for scholarships that give students of all backgrounds the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
