Daniel Subotnik

Professor Subotnik was on the faculty of Touro Law Center from 1984 through 2024. Before announcing his retirement in 2024, Professor Subotnik taught courses in Income Tax, Estate and Gift Taxation, Taxation of Corporations, Trusts and Estates, Race, Gender and the Law, and Accounting for Lawyers to scores of Touro students. He was a prolific writer who wrote scholarly articles about employment discrimination, taxation, accounting, and gender and race relations. Professor Subotnik was a friend to many and a mentor to many Touro students and graduates during his time at Touro Law. We miss him greatly.
