Conference Overview

Building on the success of past programs, the Fourth Annual Disability Rights and Inclusion Conference will explore vital concerns for the disability community, offering essential insights for legal practitioners, caregivers, and all who advocate for equal rights. This year’s conference will feature cutting-edge discussions on the relevance of AI and technology in fostering universal design, as well as innovative approaches to promoting accessibility and inclusion for veterans. Other topics will include current legal and regulatory issues, education, employment, supports and services, religious perspectives, and societal attitudes toward disability rights and inclusion.

The conference is organized in partnership with Touro Law Center's Jewish Law Institute.

Professor Samuel J. Levine is the Director of the Jewish Law Institute at Touro Law Center. He is also a prolific writer and author of Was Yosef on the Spectrum? Understanding Joseph Through Torah, Midrash and Classical Jewish Sources.
