The Institute for Health Law, Bioethics, and Policy

The Institute for Health Law, Bioethics, and Policy is an interdisciplinary institute focusing on the intersection of legal, ethical, and health science issues. In its inaugural year, 2024-2025, the Institute launched a colloquium series hosted at Touro Law Center in Central Islip, New York Medical College, a member of Touro University in Valhalla, and Touro University in Manhattan. Additionally, the Institute will present an annual conference on a topic that explores law, policy, and ethics. The inaugural conference will guarantee speakers the opportunity to publish their writing in a special edition of The Cambridge Quarterly.

Faculty affiliated with the Institute speak at national and international conferences and publish in law reviews and peer-reviewed journals to promote their scholarly work and contributions to the field.
